St. Alphonsus Ligouri
Prospect Heights, Chicago, Illinois
A traditional sequence of stations influenced by Renaissance models. In the original design, the images were to hang on the split-face walls. However, one of the walls was converted to glass, requiring alternate means of installation. The solution was a bracket set into the floor 6 inches from the wall, thus giving the stations a more dramatic presence.
